Patch Testing Is Important
Many salons will tint client’s eye brows and lashes before carrying out a patch test prior to treatment, as it saves time for the client but also the therapist. However it is extremely important to have a patch test and a consultation done before any tinting treatment. This allows the therapist to select the type of tint to use and to make sure the client is not allergic to any of the tints ingredients and clients shows no sign of reaction to the tint.
At Serenity we have a high standard of salon procedures and requirements to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all our clients, which is why patching testing is a must have her at the salon.
We encourage clients to come for a patch test at least 48 hours before the first tinting treatment and clients will only need to be patched tested once which, only takes five minutes to complete. The tint can be placed either on the inside of the clients elbow or the back of the ear and a consultation form will be filled out, dated and signed.
If there is no reaction within 48 hours, tinting treatment can be carried out when clients desire.
